I went to the London Graphic Centre and picked up some new materials. I'm very excited about this water-based acrylic and I'm pleased with this as a first attempt. It was certainly fun making it. I sketched ideas and elements for the picture in the middle of a marathon run through the woods around Leith Hill.

Fantastic! Rich and vibrant colors, intense depth and lighting bringing out the contrast of the clear sky and beautiful nature. :) This is breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteI love to experiment with new materials - glad you're having fun, too! Great first try!

New art supplies are so much fun! This is lovely. I really like that bright red foliage in the foreground balanced with the duller red towers in the distance.
